Excellent in every aspect! Mr Heaton complete my total right knee replacement at Grantham Hospital with incredible skill and care. He is a surgeon who can put you at ease with his calm manner, yet fill you with confidence about your surgery. There should be no doubt about his skill his, ability to listen and advise. My recovery with this knee has been great, 7 weeks and walking well only use one walking stick for confidence on longer distances. Informative about the whole process of the operation and after care. If I needed another knee replacement he is the surgeon I would want! I should also say that his entire team both in the operating theatre and on the ward all of which provided excellent care and support.

I had a total hip replacement 7 weeks ago and the care I received was excellent from my first consultation, through my surgery and short stay in hospital to my follow up appointment. If I ever needed orthopaedic surgery again I would certainly ask for Mr Heaton and the Grantham Hospital staff

I can’t explain how nervous I was about having a total knee replacement surgery but on meeting Mr Heaton I was put at ease straight away. He explained everything from the how's to the why’s. On the morning of surgery he was so comforting about the procedure. After the surgery it was a journey but on see Mr Heaton at my 6 week review he was great he listened and explained everything I need to know and was so positive about my rehabilitation of the knee. It made me feel great and gave me the positive energy to continue working on it. Mr Heaton I can’t thank you
